It has been under wraps for quite some time now but I guess I think I can share it. I'm now one half of Scary Bikes. We're a distribution company that brings in top notch brands such as Mutiny, T1, Shadow Conspiracy, Attila, Drive and Subrosa. Our aim is to develop Boys to have a passion for the sport with a great attitude and providing access to good quality goods at very reasonable prices. We do have sponsored riders under our Company name and we actively try to provide them with training, and in the future, send them overseas for professional training. Over the past few days in the Metro BMX Jam Singapore, we've been pretty pleased to rub shoulders with some of the world's best and having Morgan Wade, riding Mutiny, to win the competition.
Many thanks to all who supports Scary Bikes and the friends we've made. Continue to support us and you can only hope for even greater things to come by Scary Bikes.

Romans 8:15
For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship.[a] And by him we cry, "Abba,[b] Father."
Despite having the Holy Spirit in us, there are many times in our Christian walk, that we behave like slaves instead of Sons of God. We're seem like we are not under the rule of the Holy Spirit.
Spirit of Slavery
Mark 14:35
35Going a little farther, he fell to the ground and prayed that if possible the hour might pass from him. 36"Abba,[e]
Father," he said, "everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will."
A Slave does not know how to ask the Father, and the slave has no right to ask from his Father. Unlike Jesus, he knew the Father's heart and submitted not out of slavery, but out of sonship.
John 15:15
I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business.
Spirit of Sonship
Galatians 4: 6-7
Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, "Abba,[a] Father." 7So you are no longer a slave, but a son; and since you are a son, God has made you also an heir.
Being a son of God has nothing to do with our achievements, looks or possessions. Being a son of God is a right that we have and when we obey the Father, the Father is delighted. His joy is complete.
But apart from just obeying, Sons, are always wiling to share both God's suffering and also His glory.
Romans 8:17
17Now if we are
children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if
indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in
his glory.
Lastly, a Son remains in the Father.
John 15:7
7If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you.
Reflections
1. Do you ask God for things?
2. if yes, do you ask in the way that it is His will but not yours?
3. How many times have we ask ourselves if we obey God, our joy will be lesser?
4. Why we don't dare to ask is because the Spirit of Slavery is over us and in control.
5. Sufferings will come but Sons will see beyond that and know the glory in the end.
6. Everyday, how much do you remain in the Father?
7. Do we live by the Holy Spirit or by Emotions?
8. Do you find it a chore to communicate with God?
Pointers
1. Go Deep in God
a) Pray in the Spirit b) Renew your mind with the word c) Take on God's Dream
2. Go Deep with your spiritual Father
a) Attend G12 Meetings b) Say Accountable c) Share Your Heart
*I promised collin that I will replicate his drawing... Hopefully with the chic fonts, it would look nicer!
May God bless you!
I have to admit it that i'm seriously not a bummer for such movies.. When you can guess the ending before the show even starts.. but since my cell group loves it SO much.. well, here you go.. the official soundtrack..
Now this one just for the retro being inside of you! Pop!
Recently I have been experiencing rather slow computing speeds due to the fact that I am multi-tasking too many things at one time. I've got safari opened, itunes, ichat, adium, photoshop or adobe suite, and all this sucks near about all the juice my poor stock 512kb of ram. Hence, I made my way down to Jurong Pt and bought myself a further 1GB of ram. Now my comp is once again silky smooth and its working great. I was actually intending of upgrading till 2GB but realised it was far more expensive. It wasn't a linear increase in price but an exponential one.
And for those who were eye-ing my spare ram.. Nah.. Shelf that idea till I get a 2GB in the future.
Another significant thing happened to me today. We did exam blessings to the people outside Lee Wee Nam library. We offered them free milo and and I guess most of them were pretty touched by our gesture. But more importantly, we brought about a new wave of awareness to our community. People stopped to ask why we were doing this, and some of Alvin's friends were taken by surprise by our actions. This is indeed a right direction to go forth and our cell believes that as we bring light to darkness, indeed the love of God will reach the multitudes.
Its been a good six months since I had my last exams and its finally here once again. The count is 23 days and its not looking all that rosy to be honest. I still have loads of work to go, and loads studying to do. This exam is going to be much tougher than my previous ones because it will decide my course of Engineering. Previously, I did mentioned that I wanted to go EEE due to the booming job market and that I wanted to do InfoComm, but after doing some analysis of my strengths in terms of the subjects I taken last sem and this, I think I would probably better off doing Mechanical Engineering. In fact, prior to entering University, I was pretty focussed on doing Mech Engine but somehow the friends I had in Uni were all going to EEE and also the lure of jobs seemed to got me a little swayed. But nevertheless, second and third year subjects in EEE would certainly take its toll on me since I'm not strong in those areas so there you go, I've decided, Mech Engine.
I just submitted my streaming choices. 1st Choice: Mechanical Engineering. 2nd Choice: Electrical Engineering. 3rd Choice: Civil Engineering. 4th Choice: Environmental Engineering.
I'm believing God for His provision for my streaming and that He will grant me Mechanical Engineering if its in line with whats best for me. Also, like i've stated at the start of the sem, I'm believing him for a CAP score of 4.2 this semester. I know its rather daunting seeing but kind of results I've gotten so far but what the heck, Its God that we're talking here. He's Mighty man... If he gives me this kind of results.. Its supernatural work man.. not mine.
Lastly, I'll be doing a journalism practicum over this holidays. It will be doing a course whereby we will develop a magazine for the freshies coming into the University. It should be really interesting and it will seriously test my designing skills. Also, I will be taking up some product designing for my upcoming business that hopefully I can get it launched by this July. This should be pretty challenging to be honest but I believe with the favour I've been getting with regards to this matter from God, it will go fine.
My dad has been bugging me pretty hard whether I will go over this holiday to Europe. Brother in Australia is also pushing that I visit him. Well, I'll try to accomodate those in July if possible. No promises yet.
Crap.. my exams are not over yet and i'm thinking about holidays! Haha.. Alright.. Enough said, I will need to study. Please pray for me as it will be challenging.
Since I've been working on my new website, I haven't been posting much on Vox but will try to keep this alive for at least a good 2-3 months. Don't think my website will be up so soon.
Went down for a BBQ with the riding guys today. Had great fun chilling out with them and getting to know them better. I also got to meet Errol's girlfriend Luanne. She runs a bikini line and apparently chanced upon my blog before I even met Errol. How interesting is that? Well, I guess thats the power of the web and blogs. Its just amazing. Anyways, nice having you reading my blog! Hope you enjoy it. Errol was also kind enough to lend me his shin pads till I purchase my own. This should help with the cuts on my shin. I think its just a BMX thing that all of us have deep gashes. Trust me, it doesn't look macho or anything and to be honest, it really really hurts.
Anyway, it was great to see Yang Ee back in action. He had a horrific fall the last time we rode at B3 and he had to be fetch by an Ambulance to NUH for a scan. But well, we get up everytime we fall and we continue riding. Thats the spirit. Good on you dude.
Did some riding other day at Bukit Batok while waiting for my mum. Made up my mind before the start that I will try the steep ramp. Initially, I never thought it was so scary, but after what happened to our dear Yang ee the last time, it has surely gotten me a whole lot more caution when it comes to riding. Its such things that really jolts you and keep you from doing insane stuff. Anyhow, I propelled my heavy 73kg body up the ramp twice. Here are some pics of my hero-ic act!
Exams are round the corner and its only a bare 30 days left till my first paper starts. It really sucks as the timing of my exams totally co-incides with the Metro BMX Jam that is going to be held in Singapore. Got a friend Harrison form Canada who will be making his way down. Not too sure how much help I can offer since I will be digging deep into my books but I will just trust God for helping me with my time.
Studying has been pretty good this semester. Subjects thus far have been pretty understandable and teachers have been rather helpful. The only lesson that I really don't look forward to is my CM 102 lecture. Its for my Computing Minor. I have a entire lecture theatre full of China people and the lecturer is also from China. I feel super left out and I find it hard to concentrate and catch.
This 2 weeks, our Lab sessions has been on drawing. Last week was a radio and this week is on shadings. Both I must admit, they were relatively easy to draw. Do you think they look good? Well, I am actually quite proud of my drawings. I've never been known for my drawing or art but I think I'm not too bad after all, just I never bothered to try.
They're all drawn in 2 point perspective.
This week's... Its a notes counter. Its suppose to count your money.
Its got all the shadings and light effect. Light's suppose to come from top left corner.
On a totally different note, I happen to caught this on the car beside mine in North Spine carpark at NTU.
Hmm.. you figure out what's going on. It seems... hMM... to me..
Visited the Art Design and Media Library on Thursday and was totally blown away by its interior. I always knew that it was a specialized library solely for design and art books collection but I never expected the interior will be so nice. I was just so stunned walking through it. The design was really classy and artistic. Enjoyed my experience there. I might even consider sitting there to study before my exams.
Massive destruction that wrecked the world. Literallly.
It is official. I will be hosting my own domain space in a very short time and was actually intending of using my Vox Blog to power it but sadly, I got the reply from Vox Tech Team yesterday that they do not offer any Domain mirroring services. Hence, this blog will soon cease once my new webspace is created.
In the mean time, I will continue to post up updates onto this blog but will inform you guys when I finally shift over to my new website.
As of now, my webspace is www.gluejuice.net Wondering why Glue Juice? Well, only Vincent will know the reason. Thanks to my lab supervisor who kept telling us to use glue "juice" to stick our photos. I was just too intrigued by it. I should be hard coding my website with php/html and will be using some creative ideas from websites that I like.
E.g.
www.defgrip.net
www.elamenop.com
Both this websites were done by a fellow mate from Canada called Harrison Boyce. He's been giving me great tips with regards to the website.
I will also be using Flash to enhance the website and the use of blogger to power its backbone of the updates. Keep a look out and many thanks for reading my blog. Stay tuned for the shift over to my new webbie!
p.s. Kianseh, I'll be joining you real soon! =)
